The soft Pillow Top. The reason hotel beds feel the way they do.

A deep cushioned top layer stitched over 50mm of natural latex and 2,406 individually pocketed springs. The surface sinks gently when you climb in, the springs hold you underneath. Most foam and memory mattresses give you one or the other. Pillow top gives you both.

Why it matters

• 2,406 individually pocketed springs. The actual support structure, holding the body level whatever position you sleep in.
• A stitched-on pillow top. Not a comfort layer pressed into the cover. A separate deep cushioned layer sewn on top, creating the soft, slightly raised surface a freshly made hotel bed has.
• 50mm of natural latex. A resilient natural layer between the pillow top and the springs. It relieves pressure and recovers its shape night after night, without the sink-and-stay feel of synthetic memory foam.
• Handcrafted in Britain. Made in our own factory by a founder-led brand with over 50 years of manufacturing behind it, drawing on a family bed-making heritage going back to 1968.

Choosing across the three Pillow Tops: Mayfair is the soft, the deepest cushion. Montague is the medium, more support without losing the cushioned top. Wexford is the firm, the heaviest support layer. Same pillow top character, three tensions.
