Why it matters

• 1,000 individually pocketed springs. Each spring is individually encased, so it responds only to the part of you sitting above it. Your spine stays aligned without the bounce-through you get from open coil.
• Natural fillings, no synthetic foam. 50mm of natural latex beneath wool, cotton, silk, cashgora and horsehair, chosen for breathability rather than synthetic loft. They wick moisture and regulate temperature through the seasons.
• Hand side stitched. Reinforced edges, so you can sit and sleep right to the perimeter without the mattress giving way beneath you.
• Handcrafted in Britain. Made in our own factory by a founder-led brand with over 50 years of manufacturing behind it, drawing on a family bed-making heritage going back to 1968.
