A tall central peak flanked by smaller scrolled shoulders, the top edge curving in a serpentine line that reads continental rather than English. No buttoning, no channelling, no studs. The drama is all in the shape, not the surface, which lets a deep saturated fabric do the work.

It is a centrepiece headboard for boutique hotel suites, chateau-style rooms and Mediterranean villas, for anyone who wants romance built into the silhouette. It rewards a deep colour, imperial purple, oxblood, racing green or midnight navy, with antique cream linen for a softer read.

Hand-upholstered to order in our British workshop. Solid timber frame, deep foam padding, the serpentine top edge hand-cut and hand-stitched by the same upholsterers who build our beds. Available in every size from Single to Emperor to fit any standard divan.
